LOVECHILD 

A tangerine tinged nude with matter of fact candor, an underlying sweetness, and a strengthened femininity. Lovechild is inspired by the nostalgic Motown tinged zydeco of the “Unapologetically” EP, carrying that feel good lightness of a classic Diana Ross & The Supremes record, especially my favorite “Love Child,” which is also the name of my alter who shares the EP with me. It mirrors the soft orange hue Diana Ross uses on the mirror in Lady Sings the Blues as Billie Holiday faces the sorrowful, exhausted, and deeply introspective reconciliation of the title track.
